I’ve lived on Whidbey Island for 10 years and absolutely love exploring all the local gems, especially in the fall. From scenic hikes and cozy cafés to seasonal festivals and hidden spots for pumpkin picking, I’m always on the lookout for fun ways to enjoy the season.
While there’s no shortage of fall fun on Whidbey Island itself, there are also plenty of nearby events worth a day trip. Two of my favorites are the Chuckanut Drive for a scenic autumn drive, and the Schuh farm in Mount Vernon, where you can pick pumpkins and apples, perfect for enjoying a crisp fall day with family or friends. This guide is my way of sharing the best autumn experiences Whidbey Island has to offer, so you can make the most of this magical time of year.
